STATEMENT ABOUT THE REACTOR BLUEPRINT AND TEPCO'S ACCUSATIONS

Very soon after the reactor disaster, a small version of a reactor elevation blueprint was circulating around various online forums discussing the Fukushima Daiichi reactor disaster.

About the same time frame I was doing image searches on Google.jp and found a publicly posted image of the same elevation blueprint that was of a larger size. This widely circulated image was available for anyone to look at on one of the largest search websites in the world. The copy I downloaded was freely available to anyone on the internet. The file poster left no information about how or why they had the image and left no identifying information. It did appear that the file could have been online from before the earthquake and tsunami and possibly since 2007 or earlier.

TEPCO, now that they have been publicly confronted with both their denials to the press that blueprints exist (or could be made available) and their claims that I am somehow violating some law by copying a publicly available image on my web site, I felt the need to make a statement.

The real question is why was this blueprint available on Google image search for months or longer?

Since your already here please consider some more important questions.

Why is TEPCO and the govt. of Japan not making all information easily and widely available online for the world to see? This issue greatly impacts the people in Japan, they deserve honest information now, not in hindsight ten years from now. They deserve the right to know accurate details so they may make decisions for themselves and their children's safety.

Why did the govt. of Japan raise the "safe" radiation level for children to that of a German nuclear plant worker?

Why did the Ministry of Defence not release heat images for April 21, 22, 23 and 25? Those dates coincide with increased heat events in the spent fuel pools in reactor 3 and 4. All information should be given to the public, not just the "good news".

I worry greatly for the safety of the people impacted by the earthquake, tsunami and the nuclear disaster. I can't even imagine losing everything in an instant and not knowing what to do nor having any tools to get your life back together. This incident with the nuclear power plant impacts the entire world. The massive amounts of radiation being dumped into the ocean impacts us all as does the radiation being put into the air that is already being found in water, soil and food in the US. I fear what may happen to both Japan and the larger world if Fukushima has a larger catastrophic failure, the releases could be exponentially more. Now is not the time to hide information or intimidate internet users or media reporters. Now is the time to tell everyone everything and solicit the help of the entire world to resolve this issue.
